Guest guest
Ursula, geez I love your name, I was at a sensory integration workshop and they had a kit with a hammock and a swing and a platform swing. It was $159 for the entire kit. I already had the swing and I went home with pictures and Mics dad made a platform swing and we took an old hammock we had and cut it down to use it. I used them with Mics OT. I still have the platform swing Mic wont use and the hammock he doesnt like anymore either.Do you ever use joint compresses or deep pressure like big bear hugs.I dont know if you have seen the sensory integration information if you havent I can find it and forward. I am fortunate I can do the workshops and I do them when I can.It sounds to me that you are are on the right track and are informed.Rumi is lucky, I have a feeling hes going to do well he has you who is searching and working to find solutions for him.Just when I am ready to give up on Mic thinking well this is all we get he usually goes into spurts and renews my faith we are making progress. This is the first year he opened his xmas presents and played with them. Mics dad got a pool table for xmas and you should see Mic he loves watching the balls roll down the table and has his own cue stick very cute. There is also a DSI{sensory} group at yahoo I go in for suggestions it helps.
