Guest guest
Hi Laurie, When Zeb was younger I felt I had to work on all his issues, speech, fine motor, gross motor, sensory, medical etc. I was completely overwhelmed and felt like I accomplished nothing and by not doing everything I would being doing a disservice to him. I think over time I realized the right thing to do was to prioritize my list and let the rest just fall into place naturally. Our kids are not perfect but neither our the typical kids so relax and try enjoy him. The slp at school has so many issues with Mic she cant keep up.So I have the OT working on it too.Mic does eat some at school not at home.I hate the words failure to thrieve it makes me feel like I am failing as his mother.Im getting used to it now but in the beginning it really hurt.Your post made me feel so much better. I appreciate all your support. Laurie -------------------------------------------------- Checkout our homepage for information, bookmarks, and photos of our kids.
