This is so important, Sara. Thanks for reminding us.

I put a copy of the funeral plan policy I bought for Ray, information

about where estate planning documents and the numbers for the estate

planning attorney and the designated guardian in the file of the county

case manager.

We are doing a new schedule, symbols, etc. because there have been so many

changes for Ray since his health crisis this summer and our move a

year ago. I am making a copy to leave with the consultant who helps me

with support staff training and getting community activities for

Ray. That way there is a back up in case of a fire. Even if there is a

car accident and the materials are here at home sometimes they are hard to

find in a crisis so it is good to have them easily available away from home.

Eventually I hope to have a list of attorneys who would have some knowledge

of special needs on my website. I have been trying to get referrals from

attorneys I know because I don't want to just take people out of the yellow

pages. I want to be sure of who I am recommending.

Sara: You are the best friend anyone could ask for.
