Guest guest
http://tinyurl.com/9r6vv8 That's the google search page with all the links to Depakote and weight gain. Seems it's universal. What strikes me is how the manufacturer denies that it alters metabolism-- there's a page there with claims by the manufacturer that, um, the weight gain is when the drug irritates the lining of the stomach. They deny that the drug alters metabolic rates. This was the same lie put out by Eli Lilly about Zyprexa (subject of the " Zyprexa Papers scandal " when internal Lilly papers leaked showing the company knew the drug caused deadly metabolic disorders and diabetes and suppressed the information) and the same lie put out by other makers of antipsychotics. You always know the manufacturer is suppressing when the first pages of sites for a problem are simply consumer complaint sites. Here's the page for Depakote and diabetes: http://tinyurl.com/a3km3m Same thing at play here: it seems Depakote can cause diabetes and there's no science on it other than manufacturer's denials. > > Did anyone's child gain a lot of weight on depakene/depakote?
