Mercury causes MINDBLINDNESSWhy didn't I think of this!I saw a write up on Simon Baron-Cohen mistakenly described, at least to my simple mind, as an expert on AUTISM.With experts like this we are in for a tough ride to sort out the problems for autistic children.He purports to support the notion of MINDBLINDNESS.Would he be willing to subscribe to the notion that mercury in the form of alkyl mercury the most toxic of all mercury compounds might lead to MINDBLINDNESS?Professer Fritz Lorscheider filmed the action of mercury on the brain neurons and we can watch them take apart a brain cell with the military precision of a laser guided bomb.Would this lead to MINDBLINDNESS?He thinks that a 100 fold rise in the incidence of autism in less than 20 years means that the illness is deep in our genes.He believes that we will find ways to identify those that will have autistic children so we can surgically remove those children before birth.He does go on to say that that would not be a good idea, thankfully.But is he saying that a 100 fold rise means that the problem lies in some fault or to his mind some strength in our genes.I have to admit that at this point my MIND goes into MINDBLINDNESS and I feel the need to consult my friendly psychiatrist.OH MY GOSH GOLLYWOW WOW WOWSimon Baron Cohen is a TRICKY CYCLIST!Well he does a FIRST CLASS job then, as he certainly drums up the need for his services.But an expert on AUTISM as well?No for me he is just another TRICKY person.But Mercury causes MINDBLINDNESSWhy didn't I think of it!Mercury causes MINDBLINDNESS
