Guest guest
Right, this is clear headed thinking; there is no "disease" just like "reflux" was created by Pharma.. Pharmaceuticals have created another "disease". In the meantime, our cultural causes for the symptoms of IBS go unexplored. But frankly, for IBS, the right brand of acidophilus: the "pearl-looking" pills in several brands seem to work best for my daughter. We are missing the ingredients in A. in our diets as a rule and killing them off in antibiotics, I suppose. Still, my daughter's so called IBS came from the poisons of vaccines,. and have been lifelong. Only A. in various forms has worked in a lasting way although we have tried all the socalled IBS meds. Thanks, Seek Spiritual Results, Lis A. Guest guest
Hyperactivity describes a symptom. True healers help address symptoms. A good doc once told me that docs just rule out the dangerous diognoses then guess at one left...labeling helps pharmaceutocals but not people trying to alleviate symptoms. was tested for probs with foods and came out a bit toxic from farm sprays and slightly allergic to broccoli so we started washing grapes more and eating less broccoli which she loves. I also tried a diet of no wheat but no effect there. In any case she had no allerg to it...also she was tested for the condition which isan allergy to breads and cassein and no positives there. She is truly intolerant to lactase so eats none. Also takes the enzyme in case in other foods she has an exposure... Thanks and blessings, --- Original Message --- Sent:Sun 1/11/09 8:14 am To:EOHarm Subj: Re: MD sticks his neck out re pharmacotherapy , I agree with you. I wish doctors would be more skeptical when diagnosing a condition without further investigating symptoms, diet and other testing. The best example is the diagnosis of hyperactivity in my son, which for years the doctors wanted to control with meds. We did Abilify for 3 yrs, and he gained 20 lbs and developed borderline diabetes. Thankfully we discovered the root cause for his hyperactivity last year. Had I not discovered through lab testing that he is sensitive to over 50 foods and highly phenolic foods, we may still be on that path. It took a naturopath doc (ND) to tell us to try an elimination diet, and the results are astounding. I guess for some, however, a pill is easier than making meals from scratch and reading every ingredient label. I work full time, and at times it is a pain but this is the path I have chosen for his wellness. > > Right, > this is clear headed thinking; there is no " disease " just like > " reflux " was created by Pharma..
