11 Million to ONE MEASLES: Not likely to be fatal if treated AT HOME. But in hospital one patient in three picks up drug resistant bugs. This amounts each year to: 11 million cases of infections RESISTANT to drugs. Many thousands of whom die. Yes, very serious and we must do something about it. No seriously we must. CDC LIED about the TRUE number of drug resistant illnesses PICKED UP while in hospital usually after some invasive procedure like a CANNULA? COOPER: OK. OK. We got you. It's OK. (to child) We're gonna get you some fluids and we'll bring that fever down and you'll feel better. (to nurse) I need a nasal cannula at 2 liters, chest x-rays and cultures times two. One case of measles in hospital. Not likely to be fatal if treated AT HOME. 11 million cases of infections RESISTANT to drugs. Many thousands of which are FATAL. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Why don’t hospitals start with those illnesses that are serious, epidemic and are rising? Autism? Diabetes? And yes, all those dirty doctors spreading drug resistant illnesses? 1993 Two thousand cases of one drug resistant illness MRSA picked up ONLY in hospitals. 2005 This had risen to THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND cases of MRSA: AND RISING FAST! But dont forget that ONE case of measles! Bring him into the hospital setting so he can take his ONE in THREE chance of a medical, hospital induced infectious complication. MRSA, VRE, C diff etc etc etc. 11 Million to ONE
