I have watched Private Practice since it first started, but after last night's episode, I don't think I will ever watch it again! I sat there, first glad that they were talking about autism and some of the non-traditional treatments. I was so glad they had a mom on there saying that she saw first-hand how the vaccines took her child away. Then, to my horror, they turned it totally around, saying how vaccines don't cause autism and doctor's should be able to kick out patients if they don't vaccinate. Then, they started making the mom out to be the "bad guy" and I had this horrible sinking feeling in my gut, that the little ASD boy with the measles was going to die. I sat there outraged, with tears pouring down my face, as the doctor grabbed the non-vaccinated typical child and shoved that needle into his arm while the mom screamed, "No!". I am so upset and will definitely get on the ABC blog and I encourage you all to do the same.

Thanks for the link! To the mom on our list serve whose mother-in-law wants to call child services, know that you are doing the right thing. I would even be afraid to have her babysit my kids, in case she takes them to a clinic to be vaccinated while they are in her care! Lorinda in KC

This is what I wrote to ABC, but I will send them a longer letter soon. I have to go pick up my “time bomb” from school so he can get his IV Chelation.

Dear ABC & PP,

I was so hurt & offended by the Jan.8th show that I feel I cannot watch PP again. You used misinformation to instill fear and insult parents and children in the autism community. The writers also had an agenda & didn't stay true to the characters OR THE LAW- not to mention reality. I will be contacting all of the sponsors of the show, as well as thousands of other parents across the country.

My wife said the ladies in her office were talking about some medical tv soap on tv saying it was about a family with 3 kids, one had autism, one sibling came down with the measels and the third was unvaccinated. The child with the measels died (who dies from the measels!) and the doctor went out into the waiting room and vaccinated the UNvaccinated child without the parents consent (can we say viewer scare tactics?)

Now you see shows like that tell me the opposite of what they are trying to portray.

And I have known patients that got the measels/chicpox/rotavirus even after they were vaccinated.

So the reality is they are selling FEAR. If they scare you enough you'll vaccinate.

Since they are so hell bent on preventing disease why is it there is no vaccine for CANCER? It's the number one killer these days. Or is it because cancer is CAUSED by all the vaccines altering the immune systems response?

The countries they refer to when they say there are huge numbers who die

of measles are not countries where valid statistics aren't even

kept. And so many other issues such as malnutrition and polluted

water.
