They have generous legs and elastic waist and are cotton twill. Also, if kids are still wearing pajama pants to school, HE can too! Becaues he is so slim, you might also find some good cotton elastic waist pants at lands end or LL Bean. It's when the stocky thighs come in to play..... In the spring and summer, it's much easier for us because I buy capri pants and they come down to Maddie ankles. But in the winter, it's super hard. Last year, I was able to buy these pants at Limited Too that had zippers so you could make them capris or long pants. I'm hoping they sell them again this year. They're really cute. Guest guest
Here's a problem that plagues me. Ironically, I have problems finding pants that fit myself but that's another problem (big hips, small waist). is a slim 6 yr old, 42 " tall and 42 pounds. He wears size 5 and sometimes 4s. My problem is that we want him to be as independent as possible so that means elastic waist pants. It's hard to find any that fit him just right. Yes, I know - try sweats. Well, sometimes it's just too warm here in Orange County and I hate the way the elastic at the ankles crawl up his legs. Yes, I like to have him look nice too. Am I asking too much ? Probably, but I just thought I rant.
Guest guest
I used to have a list of clothing outlets you could order from. I will try to find it but I don't have help with Ray this weekend so it may be the beginning of the week. Remind me if I forget. At 09:29 AM 9/10/2005, you wrote: >Here's a problem that plagues me. Guest guest
Pants that fit? Try JC Pennys that have pants that have an elastic piece that goes through the waist that can be adjusted with buttons on the inside to adjust small fits but that way to get the length you need. This time of year I found great prices and yes zip off legs to be used as shorts. Also had luck with Walmart as someone else suggested. Good Luck Cyndi > I used to have a list of clothing outlets you could order from. Guest guest
So these pants that everybody's raving about with the elastic are just for really skinny kids? I have the opposite problem. If you remember the scene from the Santa Clause where Tim ? shows his doctor how he has suddenly developed this paunch and he lifts up his shirt and slaps his belly. That belly is like Hannah's belly! She is getting fat : ( I cannot find any jeans to fit her. Sweats work but sometimes you just need a good pair of jeans. Well ok, with still being incontinent, you need a couple of pairs of good jeans. Tried making her some but they don't fit right. Did size 10 waist and size 5 length, but they don't fit right. Help. a (Drew 14 Tourette's syndrome, OCD, ADHD; Marissa 10; Hannah 8 DS/Aut)
Guest guest
I do get Children's wear Digest. I order the girls' swimsuits from there. I'll have to get that out and look closer. Thanks for the info! a
Guest guest
Pauila, the ones I buy for Andy at Eddie Bauer are the best I've found for him as a teenager/adult. When he was younger, I purchased Lands End " Husky " size pants. A friend of mine pointed me to children's wear digest for pants for husky folks, too. j --- kpblackmail@... wrote: > So these pants that everybody's raving about with > the elastic are just for > really skinny kids?
