Guest guest
Jayne, Sorry it took me so long to write back but we have been on vacation. tooth does not seem to be bothering him. I really think was mad at his sister for being gone for a few days.He totally ignored her when she talked to him and that is not like . He loves to give high five but when she requested him doing so he ignored her completely. goes back to school tommorrow. I know he will be happy he loves his teacher and she loves him. She order us a communication book that the pages allow for things to velcro right to the page, with no velcro strips.I met a family from Texas I could not believe all the help they get. Each child gets $40,000 for school needs, they got a ramp installed in their house, a hoist for stairs, and a respite care worker that went on this trip with them. How come some states get so much more?? Not fair not fair. Is your husband home? or when do you get to see him again? Here I am complaining about what more help and yet here you are raising your special needs child by yourself with your other kiddos. Sorry for being selfish.Well we got in at 2:00 a.m. Monday morning and I am really tired now at 1:00 am Tuesday moring so bye for now. Cyndi rote:> Hey Cyndi, > How is doing? I hope better. Guest guest
Hi Cyndi, I hope the vacation went well, go anywhere fun? You'll have to post more pics! We leave Friday for our summer vacation, finally, nothing like leaving it til the last two weeks of summer. My kids don't start school until Sept 6th. I'm so glad that 's tooth isn't bothering him anymore. Hopefully he's renewed his love for his sister by now and back to high fiving her! How cute. I hope the first day goes well tomorrow. I just can't believe another summer has almost come and gone! My husband is home, thanks for asking. He's safe and sound and able to go on vacation with us on Friday. Please don't apologize for venting, that's what we're here for. Don't be silly! Take care, Jayne wrote: Jayne, Sorry it took me so long to write back but we have been on vacation. tooth does not seem to be bothering him. Guest guest
Jayne, Hi. We had a great vacation and that's just what we needed. We don't ususally wait to go on vacation right before school starts back this was a last minute thing. got to go to Disney and see his friends, Woody, Jimmy Neutron,Barney, etc. He grabbed Woody's hand and tried to get him to leave with him.Oh yes we got pictures and as soon as my husband puts the pictures on the computor I will post them.We also went to the new Nick hotel in Fl. and the kids had a great time. loves the water slide and we video taped him coming down the slide.'s first day " getting to school " started off terrible. When the bus drive came to pick him up she asked me if I had a harness for .I told her no and she said " it's in his IEP that he has to have a harness " . I told her yes I am the one that requested this harness so when gets mad he cannot hit his face on the seat in front of him and told her that several times the year before they forgot his harness and strapped him into a selt belt. I let her know this was okay by me but she refused to let him on the bus. So I called the principal at the school and the county school ECE dept. and complained. I told them that harness is the bus drivers responsibility and she should have talked to me about the harness when she called me to let me know what time she would be at our house the 1st day. I also told them that they better get another bus to my house to pick him up.The ECE dept. called back and said his bus would be back to pick him up. I could not look at or hardly talk to the bus driver or the monitor I was so mad.I hate to be huffey afterall we intrust these people with our childrens lives but this was their responsibility and in my opinion the bus driver did not do her job. Well enough about my problems. That 's great your husband is home and can go on vacation. Where are you going ? You said your kids go back Sept 6, when do they get out of school?Have a great day!
