Guest guest
Hi all We did some parent training at Mics school this week and they tell me what Mic does is called separation of home and school and is typical in Autism. For instance Mic is eating alot of stage 2 baby food with the spoon at school but absolutely refuses at home.He has some words with prompt at home and is silent just babling at school.I took Mic and sat him down and asked him to touch his nose ears eyes and mouth and he did but will not do it for them.I have never heard of this before but made me feel better I thought it was us.Anyone else heard of this ? Now they are using 3 step compliance to teach Mic to point, its working, all good stuff.Just wondering. Laurie
