I arranged this for one of my subsidy cases - had he been in foster care, we could have done the same thing. I do not even know what kind of doctor to go to. I have a seven year old girl who is changing by the day. I feeling a little desperate. What is a RTF? Ct. has the exact same problem especially if you are under 21. They have no funds but we have two thriving casinos that give the state 25% of all slot machine monies monthly. What they DO want is to pressure me into keeping him which will NOT happen./ I know, as does anyone who can add money, that there are sufficiant funds for him to go to a group home because there are funds alredy allocated for his care. What isn't avialable is the WILL to make it happen. Because of this being an election month, I cannot even get a local legislaator to talk to me. Where do you live? If you have just joined us, it is helpful to look back on some of the old posts, especially recent ones directing you to Joan Medlen's article (our moderator here) in her Disability Solutions newsletter that addresses ds/asd.
