Guest guest
Thanks Mike, This was very helpful. This reminds me when I heard at an Autism support group that some of the parents were sharing about a certain vitamin. It was Phyto-Bears something like that, that many had seen some improvements with their kids taking them. Well, I had done some research on the vitamins and behold ran into an article on Ambrotose and Down Syndrome by Dr. Len Leshin, MD, FAAP With any dietary supplement, parents should also be concerned about side effects, just as they should be with medications. When given in large amounts, carbohydrates such as those found in Ambrotose can overwhelm the digestive capabilities of the intestinal tract, causing cramping and diarrhea. When you add all these concerns to the absence of specific research on Ambrotose® and Down syndrome, I cannot recommend any child with DS receiving this product. Thanks for the article on the soy warining. Irma,16,DS/ASD -- In , " Mike & Petricig " <petricig@e...> wrote: > Here's an article about the dangers of soy.
