<<I can't wait for that show! That is my favorite show. :-) We even applied

for it. I know we aren't in need of it as the other families are, but it's a

dream. LOL Gail :-)>>

Hi, Everyone...Gail...I've been watching that show since it started last

year!!! Haven't missed an episode yet. It is soooooooooooo nice to sit down and

watch TV with the boys and not worry about sex, drugs, violence, etc. Even

Gareth loves the show....course he's the one who wants to build houses. I will

pray that you are chosen. Did you show them the holes in the wall from

Seth?!?!? BTW...who pays the taxes on all the upgrades and new stuff that's put

into

these houses? I have always wondered about that. If you take a $100,000

house and upgrade it to a $200,000 house...does your property/school taxes go up

accordingly? Are all the new appliances, furniture, toys, TV's considered

added income at the end of the year and need to be taxed? Now you're probably

wishing you hadn't said anything!!!

<<dh...that means dear husband>> On good days!!!

Take care, Everyone.

Hi Gail,

It is nice to read how well Seth has adjusted. This is something I

had always wanted to see in , so I'm glad that every Holiday

celebration for us it has gotten easier, may Seth continue to do the

same.

Whoa! Sounds like you have a full house like mine. My oldest son

lives with me and his common law wife and their 1 year old son. You

can imagine my grandson getting around lately, he is such a joy and

he knows how to butter-up his grandma. : )

This past Christmas we ended making a very difficult decision of

giving up our 1 year old dog. He's a pretty good dog, but with me

being ill and stressed cleaning up after him and everyone else and

the baby crawling and learning how to roam around walking here and

there. We gave him to one of my son's co-worker as she told him that

she was saving her money to buy her sons a dog for Christmas and my

son had mentioned about our dog, so what a precious gift her sons

received and they just fell in love with him. We miss him but we

know he will be fine as I told her that I would like to hear

something once in a while how Buddy was doing as he was part of our

family but at this time it was just too much.

I was not bad as his trainer as I had applied ABA on him. ; )One of

the reports was how well mannered and potty trained. So he just made

a great impression.

I agree with the changes its nice to see coming out of the

bedroom joining in and also eating at the table with us and our

guest.

Thought I share something else this past week my dh and I had

decided to see if he was interested in a keyboard that lights up

which he had received about 3 Christmas ago and yes he was playing.

Ok, his way but once again another mission accomplished and I'll be

signing him up for Music Therapy as I believe he is ready for it

this year.

Oh, on the toy issues I've done it both ways, its whatever works.

With it all depends on what type of day he is going through

and if I do not want to deal with it and he senses me I do not want

him to pick up any negative vibes so I do have to work around this,

too. I now have a room full of baby toys and 's which is in

's TV room and I'm having to teach and the baby " my

turn, your turn which seems to be coming along. As long as there is

constant supervision and sometimes we do play activities together

where he will understand that everybody can play too and the best

part of all is getting to interact and play.

But if he's into one of his moods I just redirect baby with another

toy and leave Uncle alone until next time. It's a job to work

around this and we do not want our children to be taught that they

could always have it their way but then once again some of our

children process things their way and they need it as a comfort zone

to stay calmed, its just knowing when, who, where, & how.

Take care and hugs!

Hi Gail,

Some magnet we have. Yep, similar issues with our sons and the other

side of our world, can we relate.

I do miss Buddy. I do not think that we'll be getting another

dog,it's heartbreaking.

He was a perfect dog, he never jumped on , he never bit him,

he would keep calm when he was over-stimulated. Buddy was

half Lab and half German-Shephard with great instincts but shed a

lot and this was too much for me to clean up as the actual owners

did not have any time for him (meaning my oldest son & his other

significant other).

I was going to include to brush him every day as part of his

therapy right before feeling sorry for the little boys who wished

for a dog. He is still keeping them happy to this day. I know I flet

sorry for them and I have a soft heart but sacrificed.

Is there a particular dog that you would like for Seth if you ever

ended up getting another one?

Did you hear the story about how the animals knew about the Tsuanami

(sp?)? Went to higher grounds before it had happen.

Then get this other story, a woman out in Dallas paid so much money

about $50,000. for her cat to get cloned like their were no other

animal who needs some loving. I know she loved her cat but, eh!

I hope she contributes a large sum of money to the Humane Society as

they're are lots of Homeless animals. Sorry just had to vent there.

I've been getting behind on my email. How is school treating Seth?

Take care,
