Guest guest
Therapeutic Arts Alliance of Manhattan Nash, LCAT, Founder / Director & Wise, ATR-BC, LCAT, Director Introduces The TAAM-Lab Therapeutic Arts Alliance of Manhattan will be offering a unique opportunity for discovery and investigation of ideas-in-process by individuals within our community. This living laboratory encourages professional growth of theoretical ideas within the supportive environment of peer presence and dialogue. TAAM-Lab becomes a 3 dimensional testing ground for concepts which are in the course of development and are not yet ready to be used within the clinical or educational setting. Our First TAAM-Lab will take place on Sunday, August 1, 2010 The exploration will be led by Cristina Morosi, a graduate student from Italy, who is currently studying drama therapy at the Arts Therapy Training Center in Lecco. Cristina is very interested in exploring and reflecting upon the ways in which human beings are connected to their environment, and how the space around us changes as others enter into it. Cristina graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in philosophy. She is interested in joining her theoretical research with drama therapy, guided by the belief that through theatre we can more creatively explore how we live in the world, and how we can find new and creative ways to feel connected with other and ourselves.
