Guest guest
None of us skis...but we got Layne involved in soccer. We all play, and since he loves to be outside, we thought we'd try to put some of that energy to good use. There is a program here called TOPSoccer, and each kid has a buddy either a teen volunteer or a parent on the field with them, and they use a huge ball, and have a blast. I think he likes the cookies and soda afterwards best, but its good for all of us. , mom with Amy to Layne, 6 DS/Autism/ADHD ---Greg 11, ADHD duffey48@... wrote: In a message dated 12/18/2004 3:47:09 PM Eastern Standard Time, duffey48@... writes: Busy day today....Duff is taking Alison and Maddie skiing in LOLOL MY mistake.....I just realized I wrote Maddie....MEANT BRENDAN!!!!!! LOL Although, I'm curious. Does anyone on this list have a kid that skiis? Or is a good sports buff? Maddie can dribble like no one on the planet (you can see her doing two at a time in Joan's DS Nutrition Handbook), but doesn't like letting go of the ball long enough to actually PUT it in that net thingy....LOL Donna

ROTFLOL Reminds me of when my 23 yo was playing T-ball. They were supposed to play another team one day, but quite a few of the kids on the other team didn't show up. So the coaches decided to just swap up the players and do the game anyway. So the coach says to 's team... " Who wants to play for the Orioles " ....Well, every kid put their hand up. Coach was kind of offended that all his team wanted to play for the other coach. They played the game and when it was over, the kids said to the coach, " Hey, where's our Oreos " .......LOL Donna
