I live in Arnold, Md. My daughter is seven and has been mainstreamed for two

years at a small Christian school. She is a triplet and has a nine year old

sister. In the last three or so years she has a need to be in constant

movement, typically starting with her eyes. She fixates on ceiling fans,

reflections,

anything. At school she gets up from her chair and reinacts lessons all the

time...just not the lesson we are on. The school has been really great so far,

theyare extremely flexible and accomadating. We just are not sure how to react

to her behavior as it is getting more constant. I am in the room as an aide

three times a week. Olivia has good articulation, wearejust never sure what she

means..yes is no and no is yes... kind of stuff. I wonder about Vision

Therpists. Her opthamologists is not convenced. Any adivive is welcome. Thanks,

Florence

Tell us about your daughter - where she is educationally, what are her

behaviors like, where you have been, where you live. We are hear to support

each other and offer suggestions if wanted. Hang in there.
