Request for Fieldwork Sites for Beginning Art Therapy Students

The Graduate Art Therapy Programs at The College of New

Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY, are seeking placements for beginning art therapy

students for Fall 2010. Most of these students are in their first

semester of training. They are required to spend a minimum of 8 hours per

week doing observation, shadowing, and light assisting under the direction of

an art therapist. They are considered to be volunteers at these

placements and should go through the volunteer office of the institution.

Fieldwork begins in late September and concludes

mid-December. If the placement is clinically-based, students may opt to

continue there for their Practicum hours in the spring semester.
