Many major illnesses are supported by organizations which help persons with financial, medical, and emotional resources, e.g., American Cancer Society, Cancer Care, UCP, MS Society. She might also contact a hospice or hospital and speak with a social worker who would have access to those resources.

Is she eligible for Medicaid, SSID, Food Stamps, or other entitlement programs which would help her save money on other expenses? She should go to a state social services office and get a case manager.May she have a complete and speedy recovery!
