Hi Lee, I feel for you in that heat, I honestly have forgotten what it is

like to be in 40 deg heat, but I do know what it feels like here in 35 deg,

with 100% humidity,

Last week when I wrote to you all whinging that it was terrible hear, that

the heat was at 35, and the humidity was 96%, well I was wrong, it was 100%

humidity outside on the patio, whech isn,t covered in , only good roof.

n , straight heat too, I really still think I d rather your straight

heat, as you generally only have a heatwave for a week or 10 days.

We have the heat and humidity pretty much ongoing for 2-3 months without let

up.

At least in Vic you have a chance to recover, get a bit of sleep before the

next lot.

Any way, whatever, heat( extreme) is terribly hard to take especially when

you have breathing problems isn,t it.

And the darn uncomfortableness of it too.

I hope your parents manage to keep hydrateted, that is really the key as

well as doing all you can to keep cool.

My ex hubby and wife are down there at the moment visiting family, my ex,

has had 4 lots of triple. quad bypass ops, and has only 1 functional lung,

they went down by car, as he cannot fly, I spoke to him yesterday and he

said the heat wasn,t affecting him like ours up here does.

He has been to Swan hill, and druin, and to Lilleydale, over the visit, so I

guess he,s seen all 4 seasons really, cos the day he arrived there ( left

here boxing day) it was 34deg here, down there it was 16deg, today they are

going to the casino in Melb, so maybe there was a method in the madness of

him going anywhere near a casino, as he hates crowds/ people, he almost is

agrophobic really.

I had a call from my son and 4 kiddies who took off to do their travel round

Aus, he too is in Melb, Vic, well he,s spent a few days in Emerald( rained

the whole time), 3 days in Echuca, cool and windy, 3 days at Tullamarine,(

family there) with a pool and too cold for the kids to swim in, now spending

a week in Lakes Entrance, family have a holiday home there, well he did his

gear box as he entered The Entrance, got to the house to find it all open

and damaged, ( been broken into and trashed), too windy to go fishing, and

no car, really having an experience of a lifetime, and only been gone 3

weeks.

He has had a great time visiting friends and family, but the weather hasn,t

been to kind for them anywhere they have been, all have colds.

The 3 out 4 kids are asthmatic, so is my son, not daughterinlaw, thank

heavens, she isn,t of our blood line.

We often make a little joke of that fact.

This is her first time out of Q, land/.

They plan to go to SA, and Tas, before heading to WA, I hope the rest of

their trip is better.

Everyone have been talking Eagles, my son collects anything and everything

with or related to Eagles, he has a huge collection.

We are all bird lovers too

Well better go, hope you get through the heat OK Lee, and your family too,

thinking of you as I grizzle about the heat , the humidity had dropped a bit

because we now have cyclonic winds, he he, ya just can,t win.

I hate the big winds too, they are frightening and dangerous, but it is AIR.

Hugs,

Sandy
