I am excited to share that the Biodanzaâ„¢ workshop- Dances of Love, Connection & Playfulness is only 10 days away. The workshops will take place on Nov. 5-7th. Biodanza is by far one of my favorite transformational dance practices. It builds community and gets you in touch with your inner child in such a profound way. The first time I experienced Biodanza it was so beautiful to see the child like expression on people’s faces. The room became a dance playground for adults. It was so wonderful to see people really let their guards down, allowing themselves to let go and have fun! It is truly a magical experience! :~)

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to exp Biodanzaâ„¢ w/Myriam Sophia. Biodanza is very popular on the west coast, in Europe and South America. It is rarely offered on the east coast and Myriam will be traveling all the way from Columbia, South America to facilitate this fun, powerful, improvisational & transformational dance workshop.

Biodanzaâ„¢ literally means- The Dance of Life. It is a transformational system of human development that uses: dance, emotions, music, and group exercises to foster a deep sense of connection with ourselves and others. The practice of Biodanza empowers us to move towards our full human potential.

What are the benefits of Biodanza- Participants frequently report leaving a workshop feeling happy, relaxed and in a better willingness to communicate with other people. There is also a major biochemical and neurological rebalancing that takes place within the body all towards a sense of well being. For many people, these changes progressively lead towards profound changes in their lives.

Myriam Sofia is an international Biodanza facilitator, didactic Biodanza teacher and the director of the Columbian School of Biodanza, Myriam Sofia is also an expert in bioenergetics, quantum techniques and has over 20 years of experience in the human development training process.

Depending on how many people register we may cancel the Sunday workshop. The workshops on Friday and Saturday are definitely taking place. Stay tuned- the next One Love Drum & Dance Circle will be on Saturday Nov 20th!

For this one I will be partnering with aka Toca. will be offering a Capoiera lesson to start the evening. Capoiera is a beautiful Afro-Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, and dance. After the Capoiera class I will be offering a JourneyDance and of course to top the evening off we will end with the ecstatic, improvisational One Love Drum & Dance Circle!
