Participants will learn:

 

~ the treatment of adult survivors of childhood sexual trauma from developmental theory, trauma and attachment theory, and neuroscience, through a relational/systemic lens;

 

~ the impact of developing inside a family system where sexual abuse has been secretly a part of that system;

~ the intergenerational impact of sexual trauma;

 

~ how to survive the work: understanding vicarious trauma, resourcing, maintaining healthy boundaries, self-care, supervision, and connection to community;

 

~ how to develop a safe and creative container for clients, within which to work through the darkness of sexual trauma.
