Guest guest
This is curious. Why does AS care about vaccine safety issues? According to their creed, vaccines have nothing to do with autism. So now they want to help the NIH come up with more alibi research, that is research with a agenda set out to prove the safety of vaccines. Why does AS care; what could there be in it for them? Perhaps it is an attempt to address, and turnaround, all of those families with autism who don't share the AS pro-vaccine creed. Guest guest
Those were my exact thoughts, Lenny. I wonder if all of these parents and celebrities doing all of this walking and golfing and what not for Autism Speaks know this.. > > > > > > This was on A.S. home page > > > _http://www.autismspeaks.org/science/science_news/nih_vaccine_safety_research_ > > funding.php_ > > > (http://www.autismspeaks.org/science/science_news/nih_vaccine_safety_research_fu\ nding.php) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Guest guest
Lynda asked me to post this. ARI does worthy work and I support their efforts. Here is the website for the million dollar puzzle: http://tinyurl.com/6d82wy Lenny I would like folks to know that there IS a legitimate effort to fund the REAL research that we all want so badly. Steve Edelson of ARI has promised to fund a large scale vaccinated vs. unvaccinated study (among other research) when we raise the funding. The Million Dollar Puzzle is an all-volunteer effort. Every penney of every dollar raised goes directly to the Autism Research Insititute specifically for research. So far we have distributed 101,000 puzzle pieces across 43 states (290 cities). We have forwarded to ARI a little over $50,000 at this point. If everyone who cares about an individual with autism donated just $1, we would quickly reach our goal of a MILLION dollars for autism research. Those of us who have been around long enough know that AS is not our friend. We also know that Bernard Rimland was the greatest angel of those living with autism who has ever lived. We honor his memory with our efforts. If you feel so inclined would you please share this on EOH? Thanks, Lynda > > > This is curious.
