Guest guest
Temple Grandin revolutionized the cattle industry. Why should we care? We should care because she is autistic and her story is an incredible testament to the human spirit in the face of social isolation, educational hurdles and emotional upheaval. This movie on HBO currently is not only a moving hope-filled story but would be an excellent educational tool for your clients. They can see how persevering through seemingly impossible tasks can be managed with the help of people who understand and care enough to make a difference. For those clinicians unfamiliar with autism, it is a sensitive and honest depiction of the disorder. Bravo to Danes who plays Temple Grandin. Don't miss it.
