Guest guest Posted June 29, 2005 Report Share Posted June 29, 2005 Hello all my wonderful friends. I am finally home from the hospital and feel so much better. I've come to realize just how sick was. I do have pneumonia and my primary care physician did an excellent job taking care of me. He was actually overly caucious and concerned and feels it will take me at least a month to fully recovery from this infection. So on the AB's, a tappered dose of prednisone, lots of water, & rest. It was so nice to be cared for here locally at our little hospital and I actually received excellent care. My husband didn't have to drive 2 hours to see me everyday either and that was nice. We don't have a pulmonologist in our small town, or I'd never go so far. Thank you all for supporting Jim and for all your prayers and good wishes. June, per your suggestion, once I'm well, Jim and I will be going to the National Jewish Medical and Research Center. I've received all the paper work and it takes at least 2 months to get an appointment. I should go sometime in August and I'm so looking forward to getting a a regeminted plan for my combined asthma/bronch/sinusitis & polyps/gerd that will help me learn the best way to take care of myself. Wow, I had 285 emails..I missed alot. I hope all of you are doing well. Thank you so much for being there for me during some of those unbearable 2:30am distress cries for help. You all carried me through a tough time. I was ready to give up cause I felt so sick. This is a wonderful group and all of you should be proud of yourself for your ability to share remedies, concern, love, that spans across the globe. God Bless you all...
