Guest guest
Come to think about it, that's about the time I started hurting too. I was 22 years old. But then again, my mother has never had a hysterectomy or grandmother and they have it too. My daughter is showing signs in a light way at present but expect her to get it too. My understanding it is hereditary? Does anyone know if their mothers or fathers have it to?
Guest guest
My chronic fatigue started soon after my hysterectomy in 1994. Then, a couple of years later, I fell down a flight of stairs in my house---and that's when I started feeling pain. Sure enough--it became FMS. If I had it to do over again---there never would have been a hysterectomy. I think, knowing what I do today, that my doctor acted too hastily...... But since going to the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center....and getting on bio-identical hormones, including estradiol, estriol, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, DHEA and pregnelone........(all compounded at a compounding pharmacy)....I am feeling a lot better. Not nearly as much pain....and my fatigue has eased somewhat, too. Wonder if they have found a correlation between FMS/CFS and hysterectomies? Lynn getting enough rest I do the same thing I have a hard time pacing myself.. and I still manage to work I drive a semi.. My fibro became chronic 3 1/2 yrs ago upon waking from a hysterectomy.. and I have been trying to win the battle ever since .. I miss my old life for sure and sure does my son.. Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the list but not to fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed 10 years ago and I have never heard of bio-identical hormones. Is my doctor holding out on me? Is this something that can help? I'm a little leary of anything called supposedly called identical to nature. Can you give me some info about this and the fibro centers?
