Guest guest
I am so sorry you have to deal with the 'smearing' too. Sounds like you have it much worse than I. I cannot imagine what it will be like with as he gets older since he is unusually tall for his age and big. Is potty trained? If not, how on earth do you deal with it for his age? Can you tell this is one area I am NOT looking forward to in the months and years to come? When did you receive a dual diagnosis on ? How old was he? What were the tell-tale signs you noticed? Just curious. Thanks! And congrats on the new baby! I am happy for you but also feel like saying, "I know your pain!" I couldn't imagine - six kids! Ugh. Three is plenty for me. - -----Original Message-----From: Multiples-DS [mailto:Multiples-DS ] On Behalf Of Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2005 10:23 AMTo: Multiples-DS Subject: check in Hello, I have written to the group previously but have had trouble getting the e-mails to the listserve. Since and Yahoo have joined up all my e-mail that I get sent to my yahoo account is automatically forwarded to my account however when I try to reply to certain messages using my account the multiples listserve doesn't accept it because I joined it with my yahoo account. So now I have logged into my yahoo account via the website to write this message. Confusing or what? , I haven't gotten the pictures developed yet....I am really bad for that. I have pictures from three years ago I haven't gotten developed. I will have to get these ones developed though. It was great meeting you and Rusty...and long overdue!! Nicala, , myself and my b/f (Ian) went to Disney world in July. We had a blast and also got to meet up with when we went thru Georgia. We drove all the way from Canada to Florida...about 21-22 hr drive. stayed with his grandmother which was great because it would have been an impossible trip to take with him along. I am now 7 mths pregnant and feeling it. Much harder of a pregnancy then any of the others....I think its related to age and already being drained. My legs get very sore at night. My Dr. says the head is down already and that the baby is big for how far along I am (I am 29 weeks). I am suppose to be having another ultrasound to check things out. I am hoping to go early because my due date is when my sister is getting married in Cuba and all my family and friends will be out of the country. I wonder how the hospital staff will take to me coming into delivery with three kids in tote. : I can totally relate to your not having one-to-one time. Nicala and (age 8) and (age 6.75) are all so close in age and have always needed so much that I find everyday life fills up my days and leaves no one to one time with any of them. Between making three meals a day, dealing with constant Dr's visits, 's high needs, me working part time, keeping the house clean, etc, there is no additional time. I am at the point now that I find myself with little desire to even try the one-to-one anymore......I am kept so busy with everything else....soon to be busier when this next one comes along. Between Ian and I we will within a few short months have six kids (ages 9,8,8,8,7 and newborn)....I don't think one-to-one exists with six kids. Oh ya....your episodes of "smearing" I know all too well about that!! has done that more times then I can count now and continues to do it despite all my efforts to get him to stop. Guess that's it for now.... , mom to Nicala & ,ds/adhd/autism (age 8) and (age 6.75) and Baby Boy (Due Oct/05) __________________________________________________
