Guest guest
I've taken 1 of the 2 case exams required. I am taking the second on Monday. I have not gotten a grade or any feedback on the 1st one yet, so I can't really help you out with that. You have 3 hours to write the exam. I finished the first in about 2 1/2. There are 8 sections and they provide the section headers and criteria at the exam for prompting, so you don't have to memorize that (although the criteria is a bit vague). It costs $390 for EACH exam, so a total of $780 (!). Once you have paid, then you are able to choose a setting and time to take the exam. It is offered in a number of places and quite frequently each month. Hope this helps. Winters, MA, MS, DTR Windows Live™: Keep your life in sync. Check it out. Guest guest
I signed up for this exam as well only to realize that the BC exam is acceptable to NY State for. The LCAT! I have no desire to sit for or pay for both!Mindy Atkin MASent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: Winters Date: Fri, 9 Jan 2009 11:57:06 -0500To: <nyccat >Subject: Re:NYS Castle Test I've taken 1 of the 2 case exams required. Guest guest
Speaking to the case narrative exam, I too have taken one and am about to take my second next week. The part that is frustrating is that it will be 3 months on the 14th since I took my first exam and I have still not received any results! I called Castle Worldwide and they confirmed that no results have been submitted. Shouldn't there be some recommended time limit in order for these to be graded in a more timely manner? I personally think 3 months is a bit long, that's a quarter of the year! Guest guest
It took six months for me to get my test score for the BC so 3 months is not so bad Speaking to the case narrative exam, I too have taken one and am about to take my second next week. The part that is frustrating is that it will be 3 months on the 14th since I took my first exam and I have still not received any results!
