Hello All...

It has been a while since I have been on I went back to work and am

truly a member of the walking weary club, my twins are now 11 weeks and

1 day, they are doing well. My question is regarding tongue

therapy...anyway, my daughter with DS is seeing an occupational

therapist and she has advised us to begin tongue therapy which consists

of a " nuk brush " for her tongue, rubbing of her lips and cheeks and to

insert a finger in her mouth when she is sticking her tongue out and

give five gentle presses on the middle of her tongue to encourage

and " train " her tongue to stay in her mouth..has anyone ever heard of

this or tried this?, it just seems kind of weird to me...

Happy 4th of July Weekend-

Tracey

Mother of 5

Calissa 17, Serena 10, Sienna 6,

and baby twins iel and Cadence (DS)
