Guest guest
Author presents theory of ' struggle with Asperger's - His affinity for his Newfoundland, Seaman, is one aspect of the famed captain's psyche that seems clear 200 years after his mysterious death. Not much else does, though. Bipolar disorder, brain syphilis and malaria have also been suggested, but none of these present-day diagnoses come as close, I believe, to revealing his strikingly complex personality as does the recently defined Asperger's syndrome.” http://www.missoulian.com/articles/2009/01/08/news/mtregional/news10.txt
