Guest guest
, The other e-mail was sent, accidentally, before I finished it--anyway I enjoyed seeing photos of your boys--For some reason I don't seem to get to our phoito gallery. They are very cute--takes me back to when my twins were that little. This summer has been a summer of weddings. We have been to two already and will go to another, tomorrow. Sara, my little girl who is 9 and has DS, has been a dancing queen at these weddings, dancing up to an hour or more straight. At one point, last weekend, she and another little girl were in a circle surrounded by about 50 wedding guests clapping and cheering the girls on while they danced and then Sara did the full splits--she's getting a little carried away with all of the attention:) Her twin brother, Gabe, would not even step foot on the dance floor. Quite the contrasting pair. Just a little update on our summer. Keep the photos coming! One day I will have some developed on a CD, so I can share. Take care! Guest guest
Your boys are absolutely adorable, what great pictures thanks for sharing. Irene in Florida Some pictures of Warren and Sam! I have some great pics of the boys getting a bath in the sink! They were just too cute to not share! To catch you up on what's been happening in the Dunphy- household: (by the way -- the boys are 9-mo old now! crazy, huh? I JUST had them!!) Warren is now weighing just over 16 lbs and has grown 2.5" since his 6-mo check-up, now reaching 27"!! Sam is 21 lbs and also has grown 2.5" since the last check-up -- he's now 29"! They are very good eaters -- they alternate between breastfeeding, formula, and baby food. We are also starting to feed them from our plates, which they love! Other than Warren's heart surgery, one bout with a stomach virus (both), one ear infection (Sam) and two colds (both), they have been blessed with good health! Warren rolls all over and gets himself in jams if you don't watch him! He props himself up on his elbows when he's on his belly, and he LOVES to play the drums! He has a real drum now, and he can hold the sticks like a pro! His favorite thing to do is "get in your face"! When you are holding him, or leaning over him on the floor, he grabs your face and pulls it to his! He laughs and laughs and will do this as long as you let him! He is the first one to start babbling consonants!! He actually started with "mama" on his 9-mo birthday!! Now he talks all the time in his wonderful baby babble (r's, p's, b's and my favorite -- the m's!) Sam has FOUR teeth that all came up in the span of two weeks! He is pulling himself up using the coffee table, his crib, your pant leg, or whatever his brother is sitting in at the time! He loves to hang around Warren, who is much less mobile. Sam crawls everywhere and has even started cruising last week -- taking his first steps while reaching for a toy on the coffee table! It was amazing to see his little feet step apart and then come together : ) He has the greatest deep belly laugh - it just kills us! They are both very sociable -- they are so much fun to take places! Of course they get a lot of attention, and Sam is usually the most interactive. He has a way of charming people from across the room or from the next table, with his incredible smile and his beautiful eyes ! Warren waits til you are right there with him before he shows you his very attentive personality -- he is much more into the one-on-one conversations! It's been working out great with me having the ability to work from home and Kim working afternoon/evenings. I get up and breastfeed Sam at 6:15am and by 6:30, I am on the computer. Kim takes care of the boys in the morning -- and works with the therpists (OT 2x/wk, PT 1x/wk, and soon ST 1x/wk). Mid-morning she brings Warren to me so I can breastfeed him, then she heads off to work at 1:30. That's when the boys are napping, which fits perfectly into my afternoon, as I work until 3pm. She gets home between 7-7:30. We have also been very fortunate that the boys go to bed without any fuss every night at 9pm. That's usually the time we eat our dinner, which is either lukewarm or overcooked : ) oh well -- before long we will all be eating dinner together -- and I am in no rush! I know this has gotten really long -- I just wanted to catch y'all up on what's been happening with us! I hope you enjoy the pictures! and Kim : ) Multiples-DShttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/Multiples-DS
Guest guest
I can't seem to get the attached photos. Does anyone know if I have to do something in order to be able to see them? I love to see the pics. I'm working on updating our website.
