FT Inpatient Position for Life Skills Specialist at Mt. Sinai Hospital

We are looking to add another creative arts therapist to our inpatient psychiatric team at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. This is a full-time, five-day position (Sunday--Thursday) that involves one weekend day and one late night. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Group and individual therapy, interview and assessment of patients on admission, progress notes and treatment plans for patients, task supervision of students and volunteers, as well as participation in peer and individual supervision. LCAT supervision provided for limited permit holders/applicants.Our team currently consists of 12 exceptional and enthusiastic creative art therapists providing group programming 7 days a week on five acute inpatient psychiatric units. This particular position focuses primarily on a general adult inpatient population, but would involve work on our other units so additional experience with any of our other populations (MICA, Geriatric, Child/Adolescent) is useful. Master's required.
