Hi Everyone,

I hope this finds you well.

I am Music Therapy Graduate Student at Molloy College in Rockville Center, NY. As part of my graduate studies, I will be conducting a thesis research project. I am interested in exploring the use of classical music and altered states of consciousness in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) sessions with pregnant women. I am seeking women who are currently in their second or third trimester of pregnancy, and who would be interested in participating in a single individual session of GIM.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

· Must be between the ages of 18 and 40 years old

· Must have no history of psychiatric illness

· Must have had a relatively normal pregnancy thus far and the physical health of the fetus or participant is not known to be in jeopardy.

· Must be able to provide contact information of their primary physician and obstetrician/gynecologist.

Participants in this study will be asked to engage in one private GIM session.

I have attached the flyer for your review. Potential participants should e-mail prenatalguidedimagery@... or call .

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like to get more information.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Candace M. Crawford, NMT, MT-BC
