During this highly experiential workshop participants will learn and practice the psychodramatic method, its structure, skills and techniques such as: doubling role reversal concretization warm ups through structured exercises, vignettes and full psychodramas. Group members will have the opportunity to learn the 'nuts and bolts' of directing psychodrama as they work on issues from their own lives in a safe and supportive environment. They will have the opportunity to try on the roles of : protagonist auxiliary group member director Group sociometry will be explored in action and sociometric interventions explained. Advanced students may have the opportunity to direct. Didactic sessions and thorough processing of the psychodramas will be included.

Students at all levels of experience are welcomed. Overnight accommodations are available.

This workshop/training offers CEUs toward national credentialing by National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors NAADAC) and are accepted by NYS OASAS, National Board of Certified Counselors and towards recertification requirements for the National Registry of Group Psychotherapists.
