Guest guest
I was on HRT for thirteen years. Had a massive tumour (benign) at 27 and had to have a hysterectomy. So I began to go through menopause at 30. With the HRT scare, I went off it – I wasn’t happy being on it to start with. When I stopped, all the symptoms returned, and I was so ill at the time I couldn’t cope, so I sought out natural treatments. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before – the one I use is called Promensil and is available across the counter from chemists. I saw that the supermarket had it too, when I was there last week, but about ten dollars more for a three month pack. You’d need to shop around. It takes two or three weeks to kick in. I find it relieves all the symptoms, but some people have to try a few different brands before they find a suitable one. In fact, I find Promensil works better for me than the HRT did. (it has lots of ginger in it.) My mantra is that if I can use a natural alternative I will. Why pump more chemicals into our bodies that we need to?
