Guest guest Posted September 22, 2002 Report Share Posted September 22, 2002 We got to Atlanta, around 7:30 wed evening. started breathing funny, I thought it was the humidty in the air,so stared breathing treatments. Got thursday morning and off to the cardio. He was breathing loud and fast. The cardio nurse was very concerned. So seen the cardio, he said as long as he can calm down while sleeping he is ok. Of course we can so this is good news. He said the EKG,ECHO and oxygen looks great..although on the ECHO he saw tricuspid regurgitation. It was a very small leak and not to worry. Said his heart was in good shape and everything looked good. As for the GI dr, she changed his milk to Pregestimil. So far seems to being doing a good job, least he now sleeping all night not waking due to pain. She said to come back in 2 months see how he doing if we need to go forward to he Reflux sugery and g-tube. So we pray this work for him less surgery better. This strider breathing... I have been reading on it.. scares me. so going to talk to my ped see if we need to go to a lung dr for this. We are going to a ENT in 2months also.. So in 2 months we have 3 appts in 2 days...with heart,stomach and ENT. oh a good note.. he is now weighing 7lbs 3.4oz.. so average he gaining 1/2 oz a day.. so I am happy for this.
