We bought Elie a trampoline with guard net 2 years ago for his birthday. We

figured he was so sensorially deprived that he would love it. Well maybe

hehas used it a dozentimes in 2 years. But this week he has started going

out at dusk until dark to jump and rock and roll on the tramp. So glad I

didn't give up and get rid of it!.

We bought a trampoline for his birthday 3 years ago as well, for sensory

stim PLUS as a social tool because all kids LOVE trampolines. We have gotten so

much use out of it. On Labor Day 2 years ago however, Pete's brother landed on

his leg (he's 2 years younger but weighs more than Pete) and broke it like a

toothpick!! Everyone's first question was " Are you going to get rid of the

trampoline now " and we thought " NO Way! " . Not only does it get Pete outside and

MOVING, it's a great bridge to other kids and it's one of the few " activities "

he truly enjoys doing that gets him some exercise? I think it's great for him!
