With all the conversation about DMT, Creative Arts Therapies and Autism,I thought it would be a good idea to forward this information about a symposium in NYC. I don't recognize any of the speakers ( go to the event website for details), but it doesn't appear there are CATs represented. I could surely be wrong.Shall a group of us go as a voice for the Creative Arts Therapies and Autism?Vitalah  Vitalah Simon, M.Ed., LCAT, BC-DMT, RYT-5007-11 Legion DriveValhalla, NY 10595www.yogashine.comBegin forwarded message:Date: March 1, 2011 4:14:55 PM ESTTo: Autism Symposium Subject: Autism Symposium Hello, I would like to inform you of our upcoming Autism Symposium sponsored by Hunter College and Weill Cornell Medical College. Hi Vitalah,I am going to try to attend this symposium. It looks very interesting and I think it would be great to get a group together to go, maybe from all Creative Arts modalities. I am currently the Art Therapist at a school for children with Autism on Long Island. At times I collaborate with the Music Therapist and we are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring the Creative Arts to our children. Thanks for the heads up with this e-mail! I will keep you posted if I can attend.Sincerely,Jodi Price, LCAT, ATR-BCTo: NYCCAT From: yogashine@...Date: Tue, 1 Mar 2011 18:26:38 -0500Subject: Fwd: Autism Symposium [2 Attachments]
