Guest guest
Hello everyone in the NYCCAT community, This is a weekly group for men who are eager to play and be brave! Openings are still available. Please pass along. Thank you!! A group for “Drama Kings†Many people feel women are “drama queensâ€. This is not necessarily true as there are also men who are “drama kingsâ€. This weekly group is designed for men to show off their “royalty†in a fun and creative way. We will explore a variety of “male issues†related to difficulties with self esteem, social anxiety, emotional availability and feeling stuck. This will be a primarily verbal group, and also incorporate the Drama Therapy method "Developmental Transformations" (or DVT) Men will be invited to use the opportunity to play out their “drama†and connect with others in a safe setting. By using improvisation, free association, and play, the members will become more self aware, embodied and confident. This group is open to therapists, and non therapists, and will meet weekly on Thursday nights. This group will be starting in October at the Institutes for Arts in Psychotherapy Address: 526 West 26th street Ste. 309 New York , NY 10001 Cost is $25 per session. Group is limited to 8. Please get in touch with me by October 10th the latest. Thanks! Please contact me at danesummer@... or (718)541-2509 if you or someone you know maybe interested.
