Guest guest
, I'm so sorry you had a bad time, I hope you get some good news about your lungs, hang in there. You are so right about sympathetic medical care, it makes such a difference when you are feeling ill you are very vulnerable to being upset. Some of these doctors forget we are human, pity they can't swop places to see how it feels. Something I want to share with everyone here tonite, just been on my asthma chat group to find one of the Brittle asthma people a young lass called la, age just 11 died this morning. That's the 2nd this week, these kids are so brave, I feel humbled. Anyway she left a quote on the post by Buddha which I have printed and am going to use as a " mantra " to pick myself up. I want to share it with you - Buddha said " The secret of health for body and mind is not to mourn the past, not to worry about the future and not to anticipate troubles. Live the present moment earnestly and wisely " . I've always loved the philosophy of Buddhism, been to Thailand many times and love their outlook on life. One day I intend to actually study the teachings of Buddha, when I have time to sit and read! I hope you all find this quote as helpful as I do, it really sums up how we should try and deal with all the problems we face. Love to everyone, off to work now, in very mixed frame of mind, finding my emotions are somewhat in turmoil just now. June
