Since Monday morning Dr. and I have been emailing each other and she is just awesome. Did I mention your name at first? Why yes indeed. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! The Down syndrome clinic and every specialist involve accepts our insurance which is awesome news!! My dh is not home, my sons are not home and everyone else I want to share my news like my sisters are not home and then there are others but they probably would not understand my excitement. Dr. wanted me to narrow it down to cut down since I'll be arriving from out of state and just concentrate on the main areas. I just told her since it was almost like pulling teeth here and it required all my time or leg work to get the other dx than when the professionals at both ends with the educational and medical arena cooperated by adding it but with nothing really supportive, they just went along with what I had to say and ME will I'm definitely no professional. Ok, besides being 's mom. So I wanted her to treat him just like what she would normally do with new patients. Follow ups told her no problem especially if its annual. When I had shared the news to my dh about another doc in Cinn, he just loved the idea, its close to his home state, Ind. Well, I need to get some type of profile & paper work of in the mean time, they did not ask for it but I know it will help with the stages worked on and thanks to you Joan when you had shared the Disability Solutions Newsletter this was the key to many of 's updated progress to this day as I was walking in the educational and medical arena blindly or walking on egg shells. Than to join this list what else could I add everyone's feedback/input is what helps us all deliver quality information to meet our needs. I've made a point of everyone whom I contact read the newsletter. I've left a copy at the school district resource center and the autism library, and several doc's whom have seen and whats embarrasing is that some did not even noticed the Downs. We're looking at June 14th the second Mon. if all specialized staff could coordiante their schedule at this time.
