He said, " What, do you WANT surgery " !!!!! JERK He waited so long that by the time I got to a neurologist, I was close to being paralyzed and had to have emergency spinal fusion surgery. THEN the guy had the almighty NERVE to say to me afterwards, " You weren't clear about the pain you were in " . I swear, I thought I was going to hit him. I said, " oh, no? I passed out in your office from pain; I think that's pretty clear!!!!! " I'm not the suing kind, but man, I'm angry at myself now that I didn't sue the pants off him!!!!!! Guest guest
Can someone explain to me what the M.I.N.D. Institute stands for- and what it is. We took our son to Kennedy Kreiger Institute and obtained a PDD diagnosis along with his current status of DS. We really liked the KKI and Dr. Capone. But just wondering with all the posts about the M.I.N.D. Institue thanks kris - DS/PDD
Guest guest
Some people love this place some people hate them. About 5 years I spoke to one to there dr before the Inst. was started. She told me " What do you want another DX for? He already has DS " And she refused to even see JJ. But I know of other families who love them. Go figure. Guest guest
M.I.N.D. stands for Medical Investigation of Neuro-developmental Disorders. It is a clinic at UC in Sacramento that has psychiatry, neurology and child development specialists. The doctor we saw was Dr. ph Pinter. He is the Asst. Professor of Pediatric Neurology and he specializes in Down Syndrome. Hope this answers your questions. HUGS...Colleen > Can someone explain to me what the M.I.N.D. Guest guest
I am so sorry that you had such a bad experience. I was very pleased with our visit and was very impressed with the doctor, the way he interacted with Tristan and his knowledge. Have not had many " specialists " that I have been happy with. He was the first. HUGS...Colleen > Some people love this place some people hate them.
