Guest guest
I did a review on Jerry's medications at the NH and was surprised to find him on so little meds and doing so well. I had previously talked with the doctor and he and I agreed that " less is best " . Jerry is taking 1.Neurontin 800 mg bid for seizures & back pain 2.Depakote Sprinkles 250mg bid for dementia and agitation 3.Zestril 15mg bid for blood pressure The doctor took him off of Seroquel because he felt it was causing a " build-up " of the drug which caused him to be comatose and eventually the hospital stay. You are right, everyone is different in what drugs are needed. We must share with each other, so each of us can find the right drugs and dosages to help our own spouse. So far, this is working for us rather well. I wish each of you good luck in this endeavor also.
