My goodness what trials of meds and glad that is doing good and of

course hearing how well your doing. Besides the legal issues your going

through.

Hope it gets straigthen out.

The legal issues are that I am suing my company for " reverse " discrimination.

After I returned from my medical leave last year, I was transferred to

another dept. which is run by management that are all black. No prob there,

BUT,

they intimidated the few white employees that worked there, including me, by

following us to the bathroom, other dept's., micro-managing us, while letting

the black employees come and go as they wished.

I finally took a paid leave of absence the end of October and filed charges

with the EEOC. I am still officially " employed " , but they recently stopped the

paid leave and are giving me a month for a " job search " to explore other

areas that may need a part time person.

So, if nothing can be found for me, I am laid off as of Feb. 21st and will

file for unemployment. My hopes are that EEOC will punish the people involved

in this harassment and not I can get my former position reinstated...not

holding my breath though. From what I'm observed, management's been getting

away

with this long before I was transferred to that dept.!

Just what I need now, eh? MORE stress!

Hi ,

I want to wish you the best in whatever happens. As I read your post

I was thinking " like you needed added stress onto to your life " .

Ok, take a deep breath to hear what I have to say.

Sounds like a sign to move on into something else and a whole lot

better than the way that dept. treat some employees. Glad you're

taking some legal actions and of course prayers that you will win

this case as no human should be punished for trying to survive

especially for what you have been through and then into a different

dept. which is polluted with people who still poison the evironment

with race issues. I know you're not but many still confront this

still and no matter what, it never changes and who wants to kiss up

to it.

In a way see it as if they're only doing you a favor, not that you

needed to go through this. Go to the unemployment office secretly

and see if this is what you would like. Check out the Temp places, I

do not know if they've changed much but it would not hurt to try.

It is a rough decision but sometimes things happen for a reason and

sometimes for the best. Financial issues will always be there but

remember tax time is here and this should hold you until you find

what YOU want, so this in a way should kinda of ease this stress. I

know you will work something out, you are not a quitter. Hang on to

some Hope. Just sharing my thoughts and I know you're probably one

foot in with all of this. needs you, so no more of this bleep

bleep with your job. HUGS!

You'd be surprised...a big corporation..BANK ONE, which has recently been

taken over by Chase! I hope they lay off the people that were so hateful to

me....they said as many as 10,000 jobs nationwide will be affected by this big

merger.

heheheh, my beloved Dad always said, " what goes around, comes around " .
