Hello all.

This is my first post.

I'm pretty sure I have FM but have not been diagnosed. I have almost

all the symptons, so is there any point in going to a doctor, if I

could find one?

I have been pretty much free of symptoms for about 6 months, then I

came down with a cold or flu on Monday. By Tuesday I felt like my

back was on fire. Everything hurts. I'm dizzy, can't think, can't

sleep, feel weird.

Six months ago, every part of my body hurt. I went to a

rheumatologist and focused on my knee problems with her. She

prescribed Celebrex and an excercise. I took one Celebrex that night

and couldn't believe the difference when I woke up-night and day.

ANyone here take Celebrex?

So today I refilled my prescription. Am I worried about dropping

dead of a heart attack from Celebrex? No, I'm not that lucky.

Anyway, I would love to go to a knowledgable doctor in NY (by which

I mean Manhattan). Anyone know of one?

I am in my last WEEK of law school and I am 53 years old. I look

youngish but feel like I'm about 200. I creak around, hate it.

Can anyone give me a reasonable explanation about how making my food

intake perfect will help me get better? I eat fairly well but I've

always been of the belief that a little sugar here and there is not

going to kill me. Anyone tried the Guerfenisin (not sure if that's

right) treatment that makes you feel worse?
