Today is JJ's 10th birthday! As a 10yo he now gets a Military ID Card.

There was no school today so Garry took him down to Beale Air Force

Base to get his card. When taking the picture JJ would not stay still

at all. The Airwoman was complaining about it. Garry said 'Just take

it " Finally Garry put his hands on each side of JJ's head to hold him

still. The Airwoman say " But your hands are in the picture! " Other

airpersons were looking over their cubicals because JJ was causing a

racket with his humming which was increased since he was stressed.

Finally Officer of the Day(OD) came over to see what was going on. The

gal explained the problem and was told he would take over. He sat

down, got ready to take the picture . THEN...........the officer (much

to the delight of his subordinates) stuck him thumbs in his ears and

moved this fingers around and made that funny sound we all make when

doing this. JJ stayed still long enough for the picture to be taken.

Turns out the OD also has an autistic son. Sure made the day go

smoother.

& Garry Parents to Sam 13 (DS), Tim 12(DS), JJ 9(Autism, DS,

Celiac Disease), 9(DS, ADHD, Celiac Disease, Hearing Impaired),

Happy Birthday to Sir JJ!!!

And thank goodness for those who will step in and make life a little

easier. OD sounds like a good guy.

Happy Belated 10th Birthday JJ!

Congratulations on the military ID, glad the picture taking was a

success thanks to the OD. We all need people like him to make a

difference. Hooray!!
