Guest guest
Welcome Kimberley---I hope your Dr did cultures before he put you on Ab's as it will certainly hasten the resistance f he has put you on inappropriate AB's-- in Vic posted an excellent email as to why some of us have bronch and assoc problems --she knows more than I do about this disease ----one thing I do know from having worked in critical care with very sick people is that a HIGH PROTEIN diet triggers the immune response--if its not there the infection will run rampant--years ago when people came in with their horrific injuries they put them on a drip of saline -gave them Ab and waited for them to get well---many died ---now the day they hit the unit we put a NG tube down and feed them predigested protein 24hrs a day--even when they go to OT it is now continued as they now know how imprtant this is---all the herbs and concoctions in the world will not help if your blood protein levels are not good---this is why Cheryl has her infusions --to keep those levels up --this is not just my hair brained idea--a GOOD dietician would be worth seeing if your diet is crappy and you are getting frequent infections---hope we can support you--cheers Del
