Guest guest
Hi Margaret, Brook is doing fine. He is using his pecs and has been pretty cooperative lately. Although I am seriously considering buying one of those Roomba vacuum cleaners because of the mess he makes every time he eats. It's that vacuum cleaner that runs all by itself. I could use it around the clock. Does anyone know if they are any good? I haven't had time to write lately because I started working in early September and I have been super busy, trying to juggle work and everything else. It was supposed to be part time but they want me to come in as much as I can. But I really enjoy getting out of the house and working with adults. I am also a sub teacher for special ed and subbed in Brook's class one day. My mom and Miles are helping a lot. Miles watches Brook and Genny for me after school. When Miles goes off to college in a few years I don't know what I'll do. -- Miles 16, Brook 13, Genevieve
Guest guest
Hi Margaret, I know how frustrating it is to get these guys out in the morning. I am a wreck after I drop him off at school. Zeb insisted on walking one very cold day. I couldn't talk him out of it. It was the longest walk I ever took. He hasn't asked since. I hope Garreth remembers to move in the morning although Zeb is still the slowest kid and is always late no matter how early I start. I always think of with all five of the kids to get out the door. Guest guest
Ha HA!!! Actually the 4 little ones are up about 5:30 so there is no problem getting them out for 8:00. Sam can be diffecult at times. He waits until the bus is at the door to have his shoes tied or he would rather be on his computer. But we get out the door on time. Guest guest
LOL Margaret, How hilarious, thanks made my day with your post. How was Gareth when he had returned from school? Think he got over it or forgot about it? did manage to wake up and was cooperative. He was up all night, rocking away & giggled away. I made him jump on his mini- trampoline and it seemed to have done the trick, finally slept at 4:00 a.m. I made him sleep in some this morning than his wake up time and we still we manage to beat the bus. I did drive him to school in the van and he just loved it. The bus had arrived as I had seen it when I had driven away through my rearview mirror, they were running a little late and I had to take his brother Rick to school. I had already warned the bus driver that when they do not see my vehicle I had to take along with his bro. He had a good day at school and returned in a good mood. Thank God! Survived another day! Tomorrow is another day, though. Hope to hear how Gareth's following day turned out? To see if he did learn anything? Never a boring moment and always a challenge. Thanks for sharing.
