Guest guest
My daughter, Ariel, used to be on Adderall. She started taking it at 4 years old. It worked very well and everyone saw major improvements in her behavior and attention span. After a bout a year and a half we took a break from the meds. Dont really remember why. After about 6 months we put her back on Adderall. Same dosage. She was weepy and crying all the time...Evedently one of the side effects of the medication. We then switched to Concerta and have had wonderful results. Also Adderal can do something to a childs growth too. It retards it or something like that and then when you take them off it they do regain the growth they lost. Not sure about it completely but it was one of those things I didnt find out until I took her off it. Hope this helps MOM to Ariel MDS and high functioning Autism
