My daughter, Ariel, used to be on Adderall. She started taking it at 4 years

old. It worked very well and everyone saw major improvements in her behavior

and attention span. After a bout a year and a half we took a break from the

meds. Dont really remember why. After about 6 months we put her back on

Adderall. Same dosage. She was weepy and crying all the time...Evedently one

of

the side effects of the medication. We then switched to Concerta and have had

wonderful results. Also Adderal can do something to a childs growth too. It

retards it or something like that and then when you take them off it they do

regain the growth they lost. Not sure about it completely but it was one of

those things I didnt find out until I took her off it.
